Jaewoo Shin is a Senior Analyst at Open Nuclear Network (ONN), a program of PAX sapiens, where he specializes in the analysis of nuclear and missile programs through the use of open-source information and remote sensing techniques. His research focuses on nuclear non-proliferation and arms control, monitoring and verification issues, and nuclear issues in Asia.
Previously, he was a Nuclear Scholar at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) Project on Nuclear Issues, graduate fellow at the Nuclear Nonproliferation Education and Research Center at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) and interned with the CSIS Korea Chair. Jaewoo holds a Master's in Nuclear Safeguards from the Polytechnic University of Milan, an MSc in International Relations from the London School of Economics and Political Science, an MA in International Security from Sciences Po Paris, and a BA in International Affairs from the University of St. Gallen.
