Jiyoon Han is a Research and Analysis intern at Open Nuclear Network (ONN), where she conducts open-source research on disinformation in the nuclear space.
Jiyoon is an intern at the Open Nuclear Network (ONN), a programme of PAX sapiens, where she supports research on countering nuclear disinformation and tracking nuclear developments in the Korean peninsula through open-source analysis. Her research interests include nuclear programmes in East Asia and state propaganda and informational control in authoritarian regimes.
Prior to joining ONN, she held research internships at think tanks such as the Institute for Indo-Pacific Security (IIPS), the Korea Chair at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). She holds an MA in International Relations from the University of Chicago and a BA in Political Science from Yonsei University in South Korea.
Jiyoon is fluent in English and Korean. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, cycling, and exploring new restaurants in Vienna.
