Reducing nuclear risk
This 60-minute webinar, hosted by Open Nuclear Network (ONN), will provide timely insights into one of today’s most urgent nuclear policy questions before the snapback deadline. Following opening reflections, experts will respond to a set of questions on internal decision-making, implications for global non-proliferation and anticipated responses from major powers and regional players. A moderated discussion and audience Q&A will follow, with a focus on transparency gaps, escalation risks and possible pathways to renewed diplomacy.
Open Nuclear Network was delighted to take part in the CTBTO Science and Technology Conference 2025, a unique forum where science and policy meet. Our team contributed with insights on satellite imagery for nuclear test detection and on strengthening youth engagement in the CTBT community.
ONN Engagement and Network Coordinator Kseniia Pirnavskaia participated in the 63rd ISODARCO Summer Course. This year’s course examined the expanding militarisation of advanced computing technologies and the profound risks this poses for peace, stability and international governance.
