ONN Convened Expert Workshop on Evaluating and Mitigating Environmental Risks Associated with the DPRK’s Nuclear Programme

ONN convened experts in Vienna to assess environmental and safety risks linked to North Korea’s nuclear activities, exploring vulnerabilities across the fuel cycle and impacts of climate factors. Through scenario exercises and technical discussions, participants identified key uncertainties, refined analytical approaches and advanced policy-relevant insights to strengthen regional risk mitigation strategies.
