ONN Senior Analyst Tianran Xu spoke to Taiwan Plus about the recent crash of an advanced trainer jet. While Taiwan's domestically built fighter jets and advanced trainers are not on par with F-16Vs as main battle equipment, they can still play various supporting roles in both peace and wartime, Xu said.
