Iran reiterated on Monday that it will suspend the voluntary implementation of the Additional Protocol as of February 21 if the JCPOA parties do not fulfill their commitments to lift sanctions on Iran. ONN Director Laura Rockwood shared the opinion that "It is unfortunate that the U.S. left the agreement [JCPOA], but I am also sorry to see Iran now leave the Additional Protocol. It is not going to make Iran more secure and it doesn't leave the Biden administration with many options. Things can quickly spin out of control."
