As part of Project Loop, Open Nuclear Network (ONN) has published a new Special Monitoring Report, The Iran War: Stakeholder Positions and Prospects for a Future Nuclear Agreement, authored by ONN Assistant Analyst and Coordinator Benjamin Ashraf. The report examines the positions of key regional and international stakeholders and assesses the prospects for a future nuclear agreement between Iran and the United States.
Pyongyang's Large Hypersonic Missiles
ONN's Special Monitoring Report, "Pyongyang's Large Hypersonic Missiles. Development, Performance and Operational Status", authored by ONN Senior Analyst Tianran Xu, examines North Korea’s two large hypersonic missile systems, the conical-shaped “Hwasong-16Ga” and the wedge-shaped Hwasong-16Na, following the first reported operational launch of the former on 3 October 2026.
DPRK Comparison to Historical and Current Nuclear Programmes
This new Open Nuclear Network report, prepared on behalf of VERTIC for the Open-Source Assessments project, compares the DPRK’s programme with those of nine historical and contemporary known or alleged nuclear-armed states: China, France, India, Israel, Pakistan, South Africa, the Soviet Union/Russia, the United Kingdom and the United States.
